What the Document, Page and Image tabs do in the Produce editor

The right-hand menu in the Produce editor holds the options for your document. What you see depends on the template, and some tabs only appear when you select something on the page.

To find it, open a template or an existing document in Produce. The editor opens with the menu on the right.

Document

Document options apply to every page. In the poster template you can choose the size (A3, A4, A5 or A6), turn on bleed and cropmarks, and set the language and the brand. Changing the size changes all pages.

Page

Page options apply only to the page you are on. In the poster template, Page holds the page layout, colours, Toggle text elements, the QR code and Drag in element. Choosing another page layout changes the page you are on and leaves the other pages as they are.

Image

The Image tab only appears after you click an image on the page. It shows the asset name and its resolution in dpi, and lets you change the scale, the alignment and the flip of the image.

Save, Undo and Redo

Click Save to name and save the document. A blue dot on the Save icon means you have changes that are not saved yet. The Undo and Redo arrows sit above Save.

Other templates show other options. An InDesign-based template, for example, has Configure PDF output under Document and Page size under Page. Templates for banners and social media show Frame where others show Page. Click a text box and a Text tab appears in the menu as well.
