Plus - Generic Office365 Plug-in

Introduction

The Papirfly Office plug-in gives users access to approved assets directly within Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Assets are pulled directly from your Place, helping everyone work from the same up-to-date library without having to download files separately.

Requirements

• Place included in your Papirfly license
• The Office plug-in included in your Papirfly license (contact your CSM for more information).
• A Microsoft Office license for Word and/or PowerPoint

Installing the plug-in 

Before starting, ask your Customer Success Manager for the required installation file.

After receiving the file, follow these steps:

• Open Microsoft Office Word/PowerPoint and create a new document
• Within the toolbar at the top, select Add-ins

• In the My Add-ins drop-down, select Advanced

• In the next window, click on Upload My Add-in in the top right and select the installation file you received from your CSM earlier

• Now, there should be a new button in your toolbar, Brand Portal. Click here to open and log in to your portal account. 

Using the plug-in

• Open Word or PowerPoint
• Select Brand Portal from the toolbar
• Sign in with your account if prompted 
• Browse and select assets from your Place library
• Optional: use available categories and filters to narrow your results

The assets shown in the plug-in follow the permissions set in your Papirfly portal. Users will only be able to access the assets and Place archives available to their specific account.
