Introduction
Being able to control what different user groups are able to do on pages is essential to ensure that the right users can see, control and edit information.
Inside Page admin, you can now head over to specific pages and adjust the access rights for each existing user group. We have made three levels of access right available:
- No access - No access to the page
- View - Can view the page
- Edit - Can both view and edit the page
Adjusting the access right on a page
To adjust the access rights for the pages in your Point, ensure you have sufficient access rights to access Page admin first. If you have access, follow these steps:
- Open Page admin inside Point
- Click on the page you would like to adjust the access rights on
- Click on the Group permissions symbol to see the user groups
- On the Group permissions page/sidebar, select one of three options for the user group you want to adjust the access rights for
- As soon as you are done editing the access rights, remember to click Save in the bottom right corner
- You have now adjusted the access rights for a user group/s
Applying the same access rights to all subfolders
To apply the same access right to all subfolders under a specific folder, complete all the steps in the guide above, but finish off by clicking on this button (Also apply):
