Produce is Papirfly's tool for creating marketing material from ready-made templates. The templates already contain your brand's logos, colours, fonts and layouts. You fill in the parts that are yours to change, such as headlines and images, and the result stays on brand without design software.
What you can make with Produce
The templates you see depend on how your organisation has set up Produce and which templates you have access to. Common types are:
- Print: flyers, posters and other printed material, downloaded as PDF files.
- Graphic: social media posts and other images, downloaded as PNG, JPEG or WEBP.
- Banner: digital banner ads for websites and online campaigns.
- Video: short branded videos, downloaded as MP4.
Main functions
Start from a template. Open Produce from the product selector in the top left corner of the portal. The home page shows the templates available to you. Click New document on a template to start. The editor opens in a new browser tab.
Edit within the brand rules. In the editor, click a text to change it, or click an image placeholder and use Select to pick an image or upload your own. Elements such as the logo are locked, so they stay the way the template was set up.
Save and come back later. Click Save in the editor and give the document a name. Your saved documents appear under Latest documents on the home page. From there you can open a document again, copy a link to it, archive it or delete it.
Download your files. Click a document on the home page to open its panel. The Assets tab lists the files you can download. Click Download all to get every file at once.
Follow a review. A document that has been sent for review shows the status Pending review. The History tab in the document panel shows who created the document, who changed it and when a review was requested.
What admins do in Produce
Every template is built on a foundation. Papirfly's Professional Services team builds custom stencils for your organisation: the blueprint with your brand's design, layouts and rules. Your admins then create templates from them. On the Templates page, they click New Template and base the template either on a stencil or on a design file. A design file is exported from InDesign or Figma with the Papirfly plugin, so your own designers can turn their designs into templates. Figma import is currently in Beta. The Design file option depends on how Produce is set up for your organization. If you don't see it, contact your Papirfly Customer Success Manager. In the same window, admins add a thumbnail and set permissions, workflows, folders, tags and categories.
Admins can also add vendors to a template as predefined recipients for documents shared from it, and manage categories from the settings menu at the bottom of the left menu. Users without admin rights do not see these options.
