With the recent release of our new UI and UX, we have made the Papirfly Product Suite even stronger, better and faster.
From minor improvements in response to customer feedback, to major exciting features like a completely new asset picker (DAM-plugin) all users will love, we also introduce serverless transcoding – meaning you can upload pictures and videos five times faster than ever before.
We’ve outlined all changes with their release dates below.
NEW RELEASES
- (NEW) Unified user interface: Brand Hub is now Point, with its unified interface in select settings screens and more coming by November.
- (NEW) New WYSIWYG Editor: Replaced CK Editor with Quill Editor, integrating the menu into the text block for a clearer, more user-friendly experience based on feedback.
- (NEW) DAM plugin to select assets: Our new DAM plugin improves accessibility and flexibility, allowing all users to easily find and select assets, even for customers not yet on DAM 2.0.
- Unified user interface: Our DAM application, now called Place, features an improved UI with a unified design for a more seamless and visually appealing user experience.
- Serverless transcoding: Serverless transcoding improves traditional setups by auto-scaling resources, optimising media for devices, streaming, and Produce templates, offering 5x faster performance and cost efficiency via AWS Lambda.
- Change video thumbnail: Select the exact moment in a video to create your thumbnail, offering faster, more flexible control to visually represent each video asset in the DAM view.
- Geolocate assets: This feature enhances asset details by reading GPS data during upload, pinpointing and displaying where the content was captured with a map for valuable geographical context.
Campaigns
- Date range settings: Co-op projects now include a date range filter, allowing users to focus on specific work items in timeline or list views. Users can select a Calendar range for defined dates or a Dynamic range for flexible time frames, like one month from today.
- List-view to display work items: Co-op projects now feature a List view, allowing users to toggle between timeline and table formats. SiteAdmins can save a default view for the company with the ‘Apply & Publish’ button.
- Modal window display mode: The new Modal window improves Co-op project views, offering three layout options for Admins to customise in Template settings, with both side and modal layouts available.
- Place assets editable from Plan: Users can now update Place assets directly within Plan’s campaign or activity detail, without switching applications, if they have the relevant rights.
Approvals
- Unified user interface: Our Plan application’s key services, Co-op Projects and Approval Projects, now feature the new unified user interface, providing an improved experience for all users.
