New design systems features, duplicate image detection when uploading, and local access to campaign planning across multiple locations are among the treasures in store this September for our customers. Enjoy these changes, with plenty more to come soon.
NEW RELEASES
- All UI is updated: Point now features a fully unified user interface (UI), completing the process of enhancing the experience for all users across your organisation by providing a seamless UI for your brand.
- New Page template builder: The updated page template builder includes intuitive page selection, multi-parameter search, template usage indicators, and warnings for unsaved changes, enhancing the user experience.
- New Page admin module: The page admin module has been overhauled with the new UI library, featuring separate tabs for languages and page actions for simplicity. Infinite scroll has replaced the “Folder view,” improving navigation by handling large page counts more efficiently.
- Design system improvements: Design components can now be grouped by category, with Figma files identified and filterable by linked files or categories in the component table.
- Duplicate image detection: The uploader now checks for existing assets in the DAM, displaying a "Duplicated" warning with three options: skip duplicates, upload all including duplicates, or review and resolve duplicates.
- Drag and Drop to the DAM window opens uploader: Dragging assets to the DAM automatically triggers the uploader, streamlining the process and saving time by eliminating the need to manually open it, enhancing workflow efficiency and user experience.
- Local access for campaign projects: Enterprise customers can improve campaign planning by granting users access to specific locations (national, regional, or city level), ensuring privacy and control, with users only seeing campaigns assigned to their location.
- New default elements: Status, Assignee, Creator: Plan helps manage campaigns at any scale with customisable statuses, user-assigned roles, and streamlined cross-campaign collaboration.
- Item URL Share: Item URL sharing allows campaign users to easily share URLs internally, with access restricted to authorised users for data security.
- Template builder saving updates: Advanced template saving now ensures frequent saving of complex templates, with options to save without closing and a warning before unsaved closures to prevent progress loss.
- Optimizely plugin: The new Optimizely plugin lets editors easily search and drag content from Place into Optimizely web pages, creating a seamless experience by unifying the UI and UX for interacting with external sources.
