The Full Screen Item Detail feature in the Template Builder module gives users the flexibility to expand item details to full screen, providing a wider and clearer view. This feature is especially useful when working with complex templates or comparing multiple elements side-by-side. By allowing users to toggle between different display modes (side panel, Classic and Fullscreen), this feature adapts to various workflows, enhancing ease of use and boosting productivity.

 Setting Up Full Screen Item Detail in Template Builder

1. Full Screen Item Detail Setting

1.1 Understanding Full Screen Mode in Template Builder

The Full Screen Item Detail setting is available in the template editor, under Modal style on the General tab. You can set the display for each template to either Fullscreen or Classic.

• Full Screen Display: All items created from a template set to Full Screen mode will open in a full screen view, displaying a wider layout across three columns.
• Best Use Cases: Full screen display is particularly beneficial when working with information-dense templates or when the Sub-items widget is included, which often requires more display space for optimal viewing.

1.2 Setting Full Screen Mode in Template General Settings

To enable Full Screen display for a template:

1. Open the template: In Application settings > Templates, select Edit template on the template and stay on the General tab.
2. Choose Display Mode: Under Modal style, select either Fullscreen or Classic for the item detail display, then select Save.
   • Fullscreen: The item fills the whole page. Ideal for complex templates with multiple elements.
   • Classic: The item opens in a window over the page. Suitable for simpler tasks where a full screen display is unnecessary.

Note: The display type setting only impacts the item detail view and does not affect the layout configuration within the Template Builder itself. Both Fullscreen and Classic displays use a three-column layout, but Fullscreen offers more column width for enhanced clarity. If Display in side panel is turned on, items open in a side panel first, and you can switch to the full view with the Modal button.

The Full Screen display in item detail is designed to maximize the space available for viewing elements. This layout follows a three-column structure, with each column taking advantage of the full screen width to offer a broader and more readable display.

Key Differences Between Classic and Fullscreen Display:
