Introduction
This feature enhances control over archiving, deleting, and restoring templates, automating cleanup while ensuring flexibility. It simplifies content management, reduces clutter, and supports admins, template owners, and managers in maintaining organised, guideline-compliant workflows.
Requirements
- You need to have Produce in order to access this feature.
- Regular users can restore own documents
- Administrators can restore deleted templates
Using the feature
Example:
To restore deleted documents or templates, follow these steps (keep in mind that the process is the same for both documents and templates, but the area in which you do it is different:
- Navigate to Produce
- Click on the Documents/Templates tab
- Click on the Filters button
- Under the field Status, select Deleted (or Archived, if you are looking to restore archived templates)
- Click Apply filters, and you should be able to see all deleted templates/documents
- Click on the document/template you want to restore
- There are two methods of restoring:
- Method one: Click on the restore button in the sidepanel
- Method two: Choose Restore from the options button
- Method one: Click on the restore button in the sidepanel
- Done
Documents can't be restored
If a document cannot be restored, you might have to restore a template first. Keep in mind that only Administrators can restore templates, which means that you might have to talk to one of your admins for this to be done.
