IMPROVEMENTS
DAM View updates
Filters, Upload & Actions button
Based on user feedback, we have introduced UX/UI improvements to the DAM-view component, enhancing the experience for end users as they search and browse through DAM assets.
Filters
Previously, long category names could break into two rows, causing confusion in the filters. Now, category names are displayed in a single row, with a hover-over tooltip added to show the full name when it is too long.
Asset names
Previously, asset names were displayed on a single line, which made it difficult to see the full name. Now, asset names will expand to two lines if needed.
Search fields
Corner rounding is customisable in the UI builder, based on styles defined by the customer's brand guidelines.
Visual changes
Several spacings have been adjusted to enhance the display and clarity of the Place-View structure.

Folder Tree in Asset Browser
If you are utilising folders in Place, you can now see the folder structure within the Produce Editor. Making it quick and easy finding assets located in folders for use in material created in Produce.
Spreadsheet Import
You are now able to import spreadsheets into material you are working on in the Produce Editor. Keep in mind that this feature has to be activated within the Stencil for it to be available.
Language Selector
You are now able to change the language of the editor, changing the words for buttons and more.
Accessibility Improvements
Many improvements have been made to accessibility to improv the overall experience of using Produce.
Improved Tracking
Template creation, editing, deletion, etc has been added to Prove to further expand on what numbers you are able to see metrics for.
Office plugin
The Office plugin enables seamless use of Place content in Word and PowerPoint. This improvement focuses on bug fixes and feature enhancements based on customer feedback to support smoother migrations. Key updates include:
Detail view of an asset and double clicking adds an additional layer
Previously, double-clicking anywhere on an image (except the center, which adds it to the document) caused the detailed view to display the asset twice, and the previous detailed view remained when navigating to a new image. This issue has been resolved, ensuring the detailed view shows the asset only once, regardless of extra clicks.
Visual improvement to reduce the size of "Papirfly" header and instead increasing the size of company configured name for the plugin
We reduced the size of the purple section and its text, making the custom name more prominent (displayed in black in this example).
Adding folder structure to the plugin (only relevant if you use folders)
Previously, the folder structure was not visible in the plugin for customers using it in Place. This has now been added, allowing folders to be used as a filter for assets displayed in the plugin.
Changing the button and behaviour of opening Filter options
| Old | New |
| Previously, the method for closing the filter view was confusing to many, as it suggested closing the entire plugin or performing a similar action: |
This has now been changed to an arrow button to indicate that the filter section will be “hidden” and go back to the original view: |
Sorting order
Previously sorted on filename instead of title - now it sorts correctly on title. When a title is added to an asset in Place, it will now be used for sorting in ascending or descending order in the Office plugin.
Web optimised transcoding
When inserting an asset, the plugin will now select the best transcoding from available options. If none are available (e.g., IMAGE-1 WEBP, IMAGE-2 WEBP), it will default to the closest matching transcoding that is larger or equal in size. Additionally, specific transcoding can customised to your needs.
