IMPROVEMENTS
New Button Settings
Editors in Point can now add buttons directly within the Layout editor, offering a more intuitive process compared to adding buttons through the text editor.
Old layout |
New layout |
Buttons are currently added by creating a link in the text editor. While this functionality will remain available, we recommend using the new method of adding buttons via the Layout editor for a more streamlined experience. | Adding button from layout editor. |
Button settings
The first dropdown selects the type of link, the others are the relevant settings for that selection.
Search added when inserting internal link. There can be many internal links available.
Display long names
Some users experienced issues displaying long file names in certain Point components. This has now been resolved by adding native tooltips to truncated text.
The native tooltips will appear when hovering over any text that gets cut off, providing the full file name. Tooltips has been added to the following areas:
- Page admin
- Background picker
- Asset collection
- Link modal
- Place search dropdown
- Place view
- Group permission modal
Examples:
Adding new background in UI builder
Additional settings added to UI builder for Background picker in PLACE view and Header carousel.
Filtering in the Place viewer
We have now added additional filters in the Place viewer that allows the user to easily choose whether they want to see Asset, Pages or Orderables in the search results. This filter can be found in the search bar at the very top of the Place viewer as seen below:
Default to last archive
The uploader will now default to the last archive the user used when uploading.
Unique Page Layouts
Stencils with flexible layouts already provide admins the ability to customise their appearance. With the introduction of unique page layouts, admins will be able to customise the layout for each page size individually. This enhancement allows a single template to support multiple page sizes and orientations more effectively than before.
Download HTML Email
Users can now download the HTML of an email built with the Produce email module, with all supporting images hosted publicly on Papirfly servers. These images will remain available for one year from the download date.
Disable AI Services
It is now possible to disable AI services for those customers who may not wish to use Amazon Web Services. This requires configuration in the stencil by a project developer.
Improvements to Image Locking
Images can now be locked to an archive when customising a template.
Selection of users following the creation of the approval project
For the admins is now possible to select users involved in the approval project (Initiators and Reviewers) directly after the new approval project creation. This leads to a better settings workflow ensuring the immediate availability of the approval project.
Improved selection of reviewers
Updates in the reviewers pool settings makes the selection of approval project reviewers more easy and intuitive. Administrator can now select from specific users or entire user groups. If some user from the user group should not be set as reviewer, it is possible to exclude this user from reviewers pool.
More information in the multi-stage approval overview
If the approval project is set to a multi-stage review workflow, the overview now display information about all selected users, user groups, and even excluded users. This makes the multi-stage overview more informatively beneficial and simplifying project settings.
