Produce - Fixed and Dynamic Text (InDesign Import)

Introduction

With editable text elements the behavior can be configured to be fixed or dynamic.

Fixed

Fixed text elements will trigger a warning when the fixed height of the element is exceeded. The maximum height of the element can be adjusted on the template.

Auto height

Text elements expand in depth to fit the text content provided.

Text Direction

As the text element grows to accommodate the text content, you can set the direction of how it expands.

• Top
• Center
• Bottom

Max lines

A limit can be set for the maximum number of lines allowed in the text element before a warning is triggered.  Simply enable the max lines option and set the number.

Auto width

When enabled, the text element will adjust its width according to how much text is entered.
