From version 4.81, it's possible to integrate data from an Excel file directly on the media contained in a basket.
To do this, follow these steps:
1. Create your Excel report and upload it
In order to import the information into the sheet fields, create your Excel report with those.
Then, you just have to select the media you want to modify and download your new Excel report.
2. Modify your information from Excel
⚠️ Important instructions: Import file format
- To ensure that your data is successfully imported and indexed into the system, the Excel file used must comply with strict technical requirements regarding calculated data.
- No formulas allowed : The import system reads only raw values. The presence of formulas (e.g. =SUM(A1:B1), VLOOKUP, etc.) will systematically result in:
- A failed import (missing or incorrect data).
- A breakdown in indexing, making your offers or products unsearchable in the tool.
After that, you've to enter datas on your Excel file in the rights columns (a column corresponds to a field of your sheet).
3. Insert new datas on your medias
After completing the columns from Excel, you can insert them on the media stored in the basket. To do this, click on the "Edit" section and choose "Index using a file".
A pop-up window will then open to let you choose the fields to be modified with this new information contained in Excel. Once the boxes are checked, you just have to click on "Index" to validate the action.
