Who this guide is for:
During certain processes, accounts need to be created or moved by the system. In those cases, your password will no longer work as nobody (not even the system) has access to reading your password.
In such cases, we will need to ask you to "reset" your password so that you can register a new password for your account going forward.
This applies to:
- Imported accounts
- Migrated accounts
- Upgraded accounts
- Also if you have forgotten your password and need to reset it.
There may be other situations where a reset may be required, but the steps are the same.
Note:
If you are an employee in the company which owns the system, you may need to use the "SSO" automated log-in (first picture in the guide below). If your solution has "SSO" activated, please do not try to reset your password. SSO will automatically create or update your account and no password is needed. (SSO: Automated log-in using for example Microsoft or Google)
How to reset your password:
- Go to the platform so you see your log-in screen.
- Click on "Sign in with Username and Password"
- Click on "Forgot Password?"
Yes, even if you did not "forget" your password, click this button and follow the steps required.
This will require you to check your account email.
Troubleshooting:
- If you are uncertain if you have an account, try the steps above and if you receive an error, please reach out to your contact for the platform.
- Did not receive an email? Note that the sender email address is different and you may need to check your spam folder. If you have changed name for example: firstname.lastname@account.com changes to firstname.differentlastname@account.com , this may cause your email not to reach you. Please reach out to your platform contact.
