Removing an asset from an approval project

If material has gone into an approval project by mistake, you can take it out before it goes any further.

Remove one asset

1. Open Plan and go to Approval projects, then open the project the asset is in.
2. Find the asset in the list and click the three dots at the end of its row.
3. Choose Delete asset.

Plan asks you to confirm, and tells you what removal means: the action is permanent, and the asset is removed from Plan Approvals and from Place. Click Delete to go ahead.

The asset disappears from the project and stops taking part in any approval workflow. Because it also leaves Place, check that nobody else is using it before you delete.

Remove several at once

Tick the box at the start of each row, or the box in the header to take everything on the page. Delete appears above the list, next to the number of items you have selected.

The same confirmation follows, and the same thing happens: every selected asset leaves Plan Approvals and Place.
