Point
We’ve upgraded the Asset Detail view in Point for logged in users, bringing it in line with Place and making more powerful asset functionality available wherever you access assets.
Accessible from:
Global search, side menu and navigation, header carousel, Place view, shared collections, and asset collections.
What’s new
- Icon recolouring and full cropping functionality now available in Point
- Access to attachments, including from shared collections
- Similar images displayed for easier discovery
- “Open in Place” for admins who need to move from discovery to editing or organisation
- Recognized faces visible in Point
- Clear visibility of usage rights and copyright information before download
This update benefits both everyday users distributing marketing materials and admins managing brand assets, creating a more consistent and powerful experience across the platform.
Important notes
- Users will only see the new functionality if they have the necessary permissions (e.g. attachments, cropping)
- This new view only affected logged in users. External users via public point pages and collections will continue to access the limited public asset detail.

For most organizations, HEX values with automatic conversion remain accurate enough. However, brand-sensitive teams who require precise print output can now specify exact CMYK values to ensure full control and brand consistency across printed materials.
What’s new
HEX remains the required primary colour CMYK is now available as an optional field for print-accurate control
