Overview
Plan Approvals now includes two AI-powered features for the parts of a review cycle that take the most time: finding what changed between versions, and working through feedback from several reviewers.
When a creator resubmits material, reviewers usually have to compare it with the previous version by eye, which is slow and easy to get wrong on complex or multi-page material. When feedback comes in from several reviewers at once, the creator has to read every comment, work out what is being asked, and spot where reviewers disagree before starting on revisions.
AI Version comparison finds the differences for you. AI Feedback summary turns open feedback into a clear list of what to change. Both are informational only: reviewers still make every approval decision, and creators still resolve comments through the normal comment thread.
AI Version comparison
AI Version comparison automatically detects and highlights the differences between two versions of a Place asset or Produce document, so reviewers can focus on whether a change is acceptable rather than hunting for it.
- Start a comparison from the review detail with Compare versions, available once an item has at least two versions
- By default, the latest version is compared with the one before it, and you can pick any other pair from the version history
- For multi-page material, choose which pages to compare on each version
- Each difference is highlighted and pinned with a short description, categorised as Typography, Color, Layout, Content or Missing element
- An overall severity index (Low, Medium, High) shows how big the changes are at a glance
- When the AI is confident a new version introduces no compliance risk, it marks it Compliant automatically. Otherwise it leaves the version for manual review and never marks anything Non-compliant on its own
- Works with static Place assets (images, vector files) and static Produce documents and banners. Video and spreadsheet files are not supported
Benefit: Reviewers see every change between versions in seconds, even on complex multi-page material, and several reviewers no longer have to repeat the same comparison.
AI Feedback summary
AI Feedback summary gives creators one consolidated view of all open reviewer feedback for the current approval stage. It sits in a panel next to the existing comment thread.
- Generate the summary from the review detail, and refresh it to pick up new comments
- Comments are grouped by the part of the material they relate to, with a link back to each original pinned comment
- A separate list of action points shows what needs to be changed
- When two reviewers give opposing instructions on the same part of the material, the summary shows them in a Conflicting feedback section instead of merging them
- Only open comments from the current approval stage are included. Feedback on different versions is kept separate, so you always know which version a comment refers to
- If a comment is too vague to interpret, the summary says so and points you to the original comment instead of guessing
- The original comments stay available, and resolving comments, replying and moving the approval forward all work as before
Benefit: Creators can start revisions from a clear to-do list instead of reading every comment one by one, and teams can catch conflicting feedback before it turns into another review round.
