Place & Point
Autosuggestions
We’ve made finding the right asset easier than ever. As you start typing, search will now show instant suggestions — helping you jump straight to what you need without opening a full results page.
Autosuggestions include asset names, file types, and metadata matches, giving you more context at a glance.
You can go directly from the dropdown to an asset preview, cutting down on clicks and saving time.

Cleaner, smarter asset cards
We’ve redesigned asset tiles to make browsing smoother and more consistent across Place and Point.
Key info like titles and file types are now clearer, and actions have moved into an easy ellipsis menu to cut down on misclicks.
Open attachments directly
No more dead ends — attachments can now be opened in a new tab instead of forcing a download.
Preview previous versions
Need to restore an older version? You can now preview and inspect previous versions in a lightbox before restoring.
File size and thumbnails in downloads
Download menus now show file sizes and visual thumbnails to help you pick the right format at a glance.
(Available in Place, coming soon to Point.)
Streamlined asset details
We’ve retired the old Overview tab to reduce duplication.
All details are now under Information, with more updates coming soon — like inline title editing.
Better duplicate detection
The duplicate detection window now shows asset title, uploader, and upload date — plus a quick link to open the existing asset in a new tab.
It’s now easier to confirm if something already exists before uploading.
Pagination for faster bulk actions
Large archives now load in pages of 200 assets, with “select all” capped at 1,000.
This dramatically improves speed and reliability for bulk actions, ensuring accurate results when working with permissions, folders, and usage intentions.
Produce
InDesign V5
Following features have been added to the InDesign plugin in this version:
Restricting elements from going in to padding
The new setting to restrict elements from going in to the padding of the page is done by this setting found in the “…” dropdown of the element.
Group type - stack vertically from bottom
The stack vertically setting is found within the other options for “Group type” of grouped elements.
Element annotation
We have added the possibility for template creators to add instructive texts, to be used by content creators when they create their documents.
Page annotation
We have with this release also enabled page annotations to be added, from the InDesign plugin. They show on the top of the side panel for each page they have been added to.
In InDesign, adding the page annotations is done by this new ‘Page manager’ option:
Added support for constraining elements within margins
This option can be toggled from the Element menu -> "Constrain within margins".
Floating element menu
Menu shown on Layers palette will now also be shown inline when an element is focused. A couple of buttons will be shown in a narrow, unobtrusive toolbar. The rest will be hidden behind a [...] menu (same as on the Layers palette).
Ctrl/Meta+click to choose what to focus
Ctrl/Meta+click on an element in the Editor will now bring up a context menu when there is more than one focusable element under mouse pointer. This is similar to how it works in Adobe products.
Improvements of already existing features of the InDesign plugin:
Refactored Text dynamic height feature in InDesign imported templates to make it easier(possible) to work with. Existing dynamicHeight feature will later be ported to use this as well. UI for this feature has also been simplified and upgraded.
Icons and order of items for the dropdown menu on the layers palette has been changed
Visibility toggle on the Layers palette has been removed
Ungroup/Group button on top of the layers palette has been removed since it's easily available from the inline element toolbar.
A new delete option is shown on the inline element toolbar.
Focusable Indicator fix. The focusable indicator will draw an orange line around focusable elements on mouse move. This code is now updated to not run when mouse is moving on Popovers, Context menus etc, only on canvas.
Multi focus element bug fix - Added intelligence preventing a group and its children to be focused simultaneously. If a Marquee selection includes both a container and its children, only the container will be focused.
Vendor Send Forms - new field type
The company admins who have access to Vendor Send Forms admin tool will be able to select the new field type “Drop-down” when setting up the form and adding its custom properties.
Another improvement in this release is the option to select if the default should be to send the document via Link or as an Attachment:
Document privacy setting
Based on feedback from end users that the previous icon for changing the privacy of the document was difficult to understand and find, we have now moved the setting to a new “Settings menu”, found in the drop down here:
Produce & Plan Approvals
